She works mainly on: Natural and Synthetic Chemical Substances Against Bacteria of Medical Interest, such as Mycobacterium Tuberculosis and Non-Tuberculous Mycobacteria.

Rosilene Fressatti Cardoso, PhD

Associate professor at the Department of Clinical Analysis and Biomedicine (Departamento de Análises Clínicas e Biomedicina -  DAB/UEM) and permanent professor at PCS. CNPq Research Productivity Fellow (Level 2). She has experience in the area of Clinical Analysis, with an emphasis on Medical Microbiology, working mainly on: Laboratory Diagnosis, Culture, Detection of Resistance and Epidemiology of Tuberculosis, Gene Expression and Studies of New Compounds with action on Mycobacterium Tuberculosis and Non-Tuberculous Mycobacteria.

Dennis Armando Bertolini, PhD

Terezinha Inez Estivalet Svidzinski, PhD

Retired associate professor at the Department of Clinical Analysis and Biomedicine (Departamento de Análises Clínicas e Biomedicina - DAB/UEM) and permanent professor at PCS. CNPq Research Productivity Fellow (Level 1D). Leader of the research group "Human and environmental mycology in the health-disease process". She has experience in Pharmacy and Clinical Analysis, with an emphasis on Medical Mycology. Her main areas of expertise are: Virulence Factors of Pathogenic Fungi, Yeasts Involved in Hospital Infections, Paracoccidioidomycosis, Vulvovaginal Candidiasis, Diagnosis and Epidemiology of Human Mycoses and Herbal Medicines with Antifungal Properties.

Melyssa Negri, PhD

Associate professor at the Department of Clinical Analysis and Biomedicine (Departamento de Análises Clínicas e Biomedicina- DAB/UEM) and permanent professor at PCS. Leader of the CNPq Technologies Research Group - Mycobioma: Interrelationships, Benefits, Damages, Prevention and Control in The Onehealth Context (OneMyco). She has experience in Microbiology, with an emphasis on Medical Mycology. Her main areas of expertise are: Microbial Biofilms, Hospital Infection, Fungal Infections, Fungus-Host Interaction, Cell Culture and Alternative Models.

Max Jean de Ornelas Toledo, PhD

Associate professor at the Department of Basic Health Sciences (Departamento de Ciências Básicas da Saúde-DBS/UEM) and permanent PCS professor. CNPq Research Productivity Fellow (Level 2). He has experience in Parasitology and Molecular Biology, with an emphasis on Parasite Protozoology. He works mainly on: Trypanosoma Cruzi, Genotyping, Experimental Chemotherapy, Oral Chagas Disease, Mice, Wild Mammal Reservoirs, Spatial Prediction of Risk Areas, Enteroparasites in Indigenous Populations, the state of Paraná and the Amazon.
