She has experience in Pharmacy and Clinical Analysis, with an emphasis on Medical Mycology. Her main areas of expertise are: Virulence Factors of Pathogenic Fungi, Yeasts Involved in Hospital Infections, Paracoccidioidomycosis, Vulvovaginal Candidiasis, Diagnosis and Epidemiology of Human Mycoses and Herbal Medicines with Antifungal Properties.

He has experience in Parasitology and Molecular Biology, with an emphasis on Parasite Protozoology. He works mainly on: Trypanosoma Cruzi, Genotyping, Experimental Chemotherapy, Oral Chagas Disease, Mice, Wild Mammal Reservoirs, Spatial Prediction of Risk Areas, Enteroparasites in Indigenous Populations, the state of Paraná and the Amazon.
