Scientific Dissemination on Social Networks
Social Networks are widely used by the population as a form of communication and entertainment, facilitating the dissemination of information among the general population and also in academia. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, scientific communication has been key to reducing the spread of misinformation and promoting health and access to knowledge. The PCS has encouraged and promoted the dissemination of scientific knowledge through different communication channels, using accessible and didactic language, with the aim of providing quality information and bringing the university closer to the community.

Instagram of the Graduate Program in Health Sciences (@uempcs)
On our program's official Instagram page (@uempcs), students coordinated by Prof. Melyssa Negri and Prof. Luciano de Andrade narrow the distance between the university and the community. Through publications primarily related to the health area, PCS master's and doctoral students act as scientific disseminators, informing and debunking misinformation on the social network. In addition, content creation is also aimed at the academic community, with tips on useful tools for this audience, important topics for academia, publicizing notices and events, etc.
