The Numerical Analysis Research Group (GPnum) began its activities in 2013 with Professor Carlos Humberto Martins supervising two Scientific Initiation projects in numerical analysis using Abaqus software.

GPnum carries out studies and research into steel and mixed steel and concrete structures in the following areas:

1- Non-linear analysis (physical and geometric)

2- Use of high-strength materials (UHPC and HSS)

3- Fire situation

4- Dynamic Analysis

5- AI (artificial intelligence)
